Is this thing on?

Well, I'm back from "break" as it were. It seemed to last a bit longer than I intended, but big things are in store for 2008.

First, I'm still working on completing my M.A. in Consciousness Studies. My thesis should be completed by May.

Second, I will be starting a PhD in a similar field in August.

Other plans for 2008 include opening a book store here on Streams of Consciousness, and posting some original content/papers/articles written myself and others. I'm also looking at starting a publishing company this summer.

You know - in all of my free time.

Anyway, it feels good to be back. I have a terrifying amount of stuff waiting for me in my inbox and in my Google Reader account, and will be sifting through it all in the next couple of days to see what exciting things are happening in the fields of Consciousness Studies and Dream Studies. Also, I will be posting a long overdue review of Jeff Warren's book The Head Trip. It's a very entertaining and enjoyable read about one man's voyage through various states of consciousness. I highly recommend it. Lengthier review to come.
